TabTrack ("TabTrack," "we," "us") provides a shared expense tracking application and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you provide
- Account information: email address, phone number (if you choose to add it), and basic profile details you provide.
- App content: expenses, notes, and related information you enter into the Service.
- Support communications: information you include when contacting support.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages/actions within the Service, and log data for security and troubleshooting.
- Cookies/local storage: used to keep you signed in and improve reliability.
How We Use Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Authenticate you and secure accounts (including sending one-time passcodes by SMS or email when enabled)
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
- Provide customer support and respond to requests

SMS Messages (Authentication and Account Notifications)
If you add a phone number and enable SMS, we will send transactional SMS messages such as one-time passcodes (OTP) for sign-in and account notifications related to your TabTrack activity (for example: a new expense was added, an expense was marked paid). Message frequency varies based on user activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us run the Service (for example, authentication, messaging/SMS delivery, hosting, analytics, and database providers). These providers may process personal information only to provide services to us.
- Legal and safety reasons if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers (for example, if we are involved in a merger or acquisition).
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. We do not share your phone number or other personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Data Retention
We retain personal information as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account, subject to legal and operational constraints.
Your Choices
- Update information: you can update your account info (including phone number) in the Service.
- Opt out of SMS: reply STOP to any SMS message or remove/disable SMS in account settings. Reply HELP for help.
- Access/deletion: you may request access to or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can use TabTrack without enabling SMS.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
